Back to the giveaway. We published a new book which debuted at Market in Houston called SIMPLE CHOICES.
We added something else to our website in November, LARGE RIC RAC. Yup, over 20 colors. We love Ric Rac and use it in so many projects, we thought we would provide easy access to lucious colors on line.
1. Check out the website, http://www.abbeylanequilts.com/, then choose the shopping page. Got to the SIMPLE CHOICES page and pick your favorite BLOCK nd QUILT. Remember, with this book, you get to choose and customize your quilt. Here is a quick sneak peak at the quilts.
2. While you are on the shopping page, click on the RIC RAC and choose a color that would look great on your quilt.
3. Add yourself as a follower on our blog. For an additional chance, mention our giveaway on your blog. If you are already a follower, just let us know.
4. Friend us on Facebook at Abbey Lane Quilts. If you are already a friend, let us know. Post this giveaway on facebook for another chance.
You will get a chance for each number you do above. If i counted right, you could get 6 chances to win.
We will pick a winner next Sunday, so get your chances in quick.

My favorite block is the log cabin because it's a little off, like me after a long day at work. My favorite rick rack is purple. It always seems to be a stand out color to me. What a great idea to make a quilt- I love the crazy block but my favorite quilt is the springtime with the chickens.
As for rickrack I love the pink and the purple rick rack- not sure how I would work it into the spring quilt but I do love the rich color of both.

I like the pinwheel block. Pinwheels are my fave.
This is ridiculous but I would do my first quilt the same as your Simply Haunting. I love the block and the applique in this quilt. But I think I would use greys and purples instead of orange and black.
I would definitely choose the purple ricrac. That is my favourite colour and I think it would look great with the fabrics I already have in my stash.

My favorite quilt is "Simply Anytime" and I love the Pinwheel Block. Your book is a very cool concept. Most of us tweak patterns when we are using them. Starting out with 5 different blocks and choosing different ways to use them really allows quilters to "Customize" their quilts beyond fabric choices.

I would love to be able to make the Spring quilt for my daughter's "big girl" bed once we transition her to a twin size from her crib.
